In June 2016, Valserena obtained the important certification of "NON-GMO" Company, which attests to its commitment to avoiding contamination by genetically modified organisms through the signing of a protocol that establishes and regulates procedures for supplier management, product and component traceability, and the production of the finished product.

The certification guarantees compliance with regulations for all aspects concerning the agri-food supply chain. In particular, it concerns the feeding of dairy cows, based solely on forages grown by the company or purchased from businesses that, in turn, deal with non-GMO products.

Adhering to this certification also implies greater controls by the relevant authorities, in order to ensure that products remain compliant with specific Production Standards.
